Japan's central-government ministries and agencies as buyers, compiled from award results published on Japan's Procurement Portal (調達ポータル). Each buyer's own page also shows a sample of its recent awards.
Population: 166,629 award results published on the Procurement Portal with an award date between 2021-10-16 and 2026-10-16, across the 45 central-government bodies with at least one award in that window.
Central-government awards published on the Procurement Portal only. Prefectural and municipal contracts are not included, and neither is the Ministry of Defense's central equipment procurement, which ATLA (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency) publishes separately. Amounts are award prices in yen, not converted to dollars. The window is a rolling 60 months by award date, not a fiscal year.
Ordered by total award value, descending. The ranking reflects amount only — not an assessment.
